I, Shannon, am lucky enough to work with this pretty momma at my fulltime job. When I first met Kimberly I knew she was one of a kind. She is sweet as pie, outgoing, funny, and so much more. Although we don't get to see each other too often, (her office is in a different building) I always look forward to seeing her to catch up on her little family and to hear how Carter is doing.
Carter is just about 6.5 months old and was all smiles for us in the studio! Well, except for when Daddy got there. He let out a bunch of crocodile tears because he just wanted to snuggle his daddy and mommy. It was the most precious thing ever. We took care of that - we had mommy and daddy hide for a little while so we could get the little man to smile. Mission accomplished. :)
It isn't a secret that we would much prefer to be outside over the studio so when Kimberly and Carter arrived we gave them the option to do the family pics in the studio or head outside for a couple. It was chilly - but not nearly as bad as we were expecting. Kimberly picked outside so we headed down the road to capture this little family. We tried to work our absolute fastest and wrapped the little man in a blanket to keep him warm. Guess what!? The outside pics are our favorites, of course. So we think it was totally worth it.
Can we talk about how awesome Daddy was? Besides melting our hearts when he walked in and Carter having a little melt down because he just wanted him, during our first family setup we were explaining what to do and Brad walked right up to Kimberly and Carter, wrapped his arms around them, gave them a big squeeze and said, "Like this?". Ahhh, YEAH! Nailed it! :) Nothing makes us happier than a daddy who is a rock star with his wife and kiddos.
Hess family - you rocked it! Thank you so very much for letting us capture your little man's 6mo. milestone.
